Hutchison tentatively set sentencing for May 17.
In the other case, Lawhead is accused of going to the home of a Jay County sheriff's deputy last Oct. 27 and repeatedly threatening to harm the deputy.
Investigators said those threats were made in the presence of the deputy's young son and his mother-in-law.
He is also accused of attacking another deputy and a Portland police officer after a later traffic stop.
Lawhead faces eight criminal charges in that case, including two counts of battery resulting in injury to a public safety official and single counts of disarming a law enforcement officer, intimidation and strangulation.
