Hutchison tentatively set sentencing for May 17.
In the other case, Lawhead is accused of going to the home of a Jay County sheriff s deputy last Oct. 27 and repeatedly threatening to harm the deputy.
Investigators said those threats were made in the presence of the deputy s young son and his mother-in-law.
He is also accused of attacking another deputy and a Portland police officer after a later traffic stop.
Lawhead faces eight criminal charges in that case, including two counts of battery resulting in injury to a public safety official and single counts of disarming a law enforcement officer, intimidation and strangulation.
