This project will include replacement of the underground utilities and reconstruction of the roadway and sidewalks in the Fleet Street area. Preliminary engineering work on the underground utility design has begun. While the project is focused on the Fleet Street area from Hanover Street to Court Street, a larger area is being studied so the utility and other improvements can be properly designed (click here for map) https://www.cityofportsmouth.com/sites/default/files/2020-08/Fleet%20Study%20Map%20Full%20Sized%2011x17.pdf.
