REGIONAL — Nobles and Murray counties each added four new positive COVID-19 tests during the 24-period that ended at 4 p.m. Saturday, according to Sunday morning's update from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Rock County, meanwhile, added three new cases, while Cottonwood and Pipestone counties each reported two new cases and Jackson County added one.
A total of 1,847 more Minnesotans received positive COVID-19 test results during the latest 24-hour period. The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases statewide now stands at 556,381 (positive and antigen tests), with 530,121 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 40,430 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.
