Newly elected Fairfield officials to take oaths of office
FAIRFIELD — The current Fairfield City Council will consider three block grant matters and a resolution accepting the Nov. 3 general election results, among the items of business, and then welcome two new members to the first seven-seat district-based council.
Vice Mayor Pam Bertani (District 6) and Councilman Rick Vaccaro (District 4) will take their oaths for new four-year terms, while first-time members Scott Tonnesen (District 2) and Doriss Panduro (District 5) also will take their oaths.

Panduro’s term is for two years. Bertani was unopposed in the election.
Also to be sworn into their elective offices will be City Clerk Karen L. Rees and City Treasurer Arvinda Krishnan. Both ran unopposed for re-election.
