When the Medford High School golf team learned its season last fall would not happen, its golfers did not sit idle. The Greater Boston League decided not to play fall sports unlike many other high school leagues, ultimately postponing the golf season until this spring.
But the Mustangs had a jump on this season, because they worked hard last fall. Ray Dyer, coach of the Medford High School golf team, said the team saw plenty of action on the links last fall, despite not being in a competitive league. The Mustang golfers got to see a lot of green at Unicorn Golf Course in Stoneham, as well as Sagamore golf course.
