NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A missing Suffolk County teenager with autism was found unharmed in Virginia with his alleged kidnapper early Wednesday morning.
Authorities say the 15-year-old left his Sayville home around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
"He had left his home telling his parents that he was going to get ice cream at an ice cream store about a half-mile to a mile away from his home," said Suffolk County Police Commissioner Stuart Cameron. "He left on his bicycle."
