The 50,000th unit of the MG SUV was rolled out with an all-women crew at the company's manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat.

MG Hector has achieved a new production milestone in India, you guys! The British automaker announced that it has now made more than 50,000 units of the Hector SUV in India. What's even more interesting is that the 50,000th unit of the MG SUV was rolled out with an all-women crew at the company's manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat. In this women led the end-to-end production, only teams comprising of women were involved in panel-pressing of the sheet metal, welding, and painting jobs as well as executing the post-production test runs. It may also be interesting to note that 33 per cent of the automaker's worforce comprises women. The company added it intends to achieve 50 per cent gender diversity in its organization in the future.
