Lucille's Provides 3000 Meals And A Community Garden For Houston | SUNNY 99.1

Yesterday was a day of service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and there's one restaurant in the museum district who gave back in a big way!
Lucille's is run by Chris & Ben Williams who named the restaurant after their great grandmother, Lucille Bishop Smith.
Their great grandmother has fed and served Dr. King many times, so yesterday
Lucille's gave away 3000 meals to honor both of them!
These meals were tailor-maid for residents in Rosenberg, Richmond and Fifth Ward and they sound delicious!
Residents were served a variation of smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes, gravy and collard greens + bistec a la mexicana with spanish rice and charro Beans.
