Really tough getting out of that pool. All right. Lets go to our chief meteorologist bill martin to update us on our rain and snow back east. Snow back east and now snow potential for our mountains as well which is really good news because thats where we bank the water for the coming summer, spring and summer and we havent had a lot of snow really compared to last year but we are getting snow now. We could see a foot of snow up there. Heres the system im tracking. Lets look out in the pacific. You have lots of activity and thats what you want to see. You have a line like this. We were lack the potential for rainfall in november and december with the jet stream pattern the way it was so now we have the pattern. The scattered showers is light, heavy know, the a light, unlike what we had a few days ago. Well probably get an inch. There is a system behind this which we call it system number 3 which will be here sunday night into monday. That has some pop. Youre getting drizzle in all these areas. A lot of this drizzle falls out in the doppler radars. A lot of times if the rain is below 5,000 feet, whatever, precipitation, you wont see it. So, um, in this case we have some lowlevel moisture not getting picked up. I suspect thats the case. Um, you look outside and you can see the drizzle. Theres the bay bridge. And its one of those nights. Its going to be one of those overnight, too. This is how it goes. This is midnight. These are impulses that might have more push. But the idea is its going to be drizzly all night. Tomorrow morning, not bad. Well clear out and then there was a second pulse that comes through here there it is. There is a second pulse around lunchtime but not much. Then clear up friday afternoon. Tomorrow morning commute dry from the sky. Tomorrow afternoon dry from the sky, as well. So the story is this system is cold. Thats what i was talking about with the snow, so thats good news. Then you tee up storm system number every3, with a little more vim and vigor than the one before it. Its all good, we are going the right way and we need some of these to really produce significant rainfall. I think sunday night is going to be the one. Thank you.
