Well, right now it is quiet, but there is heavy security eus been here several times. We do know last november as well as a couple of months ago in february. But this time, guys, just from my own perspective, i see a lot more Police Presence as well as secret service because they know that the protesters know that he is in town and they plan to rally to get message across to him. Yes, theyve been doing it on college campuses, but now they can get as close as they possibly can without being pushed back by security or those barricades to send a message to him. The propalestine supporters that they want a change in u. S. Policy. Now the president is presumably up at this time. Im sure hes taking phone calls after that. He will leave the Fairmont Hotel for a fundraiser at 11 oclock this morning. He actually arrived in town yesterday. So let me show you video of that. He arrived at moffett field, went to San Francisco where, of course he was escorted. But along the way, some protesters and many supporters greeted him as he made his way to the fairmont. This visit here. It is not anything about national policy. It is strictly fundraising, 2 events. He will leave San Francisco a lot richer. Then he was arriving. Reportedly the event at 11 oclock this morning should raise millions of dollars because reportedly just 10 could be anywhere between 20250,000. He was actually here in San Francisco back in february, 4 fundraisers as well. He will leave today. Go to seattle and you guessed it, more fundraising. The president knows he needs every dollar because he is in for a battle with former president donald trump. And according to political experts, james and area, they say it will cost billions of dollars this time around for november, which is why he is here looking for more money. And in the meantime, if you are here in San Francisco, expect a lot of road closures. You can see all of the barricades behind me, cable cars, the legendary cable cars on california. They are not being allowed to go through, of course, because its been shut off. You want to hop on something up on a bus. To go around this location, not cable cars. Were going to monitor the situation. We do know its going to a lot of rallying happening at the event at 11 oclock. But you never know protesters. They could be right next to me. Any time now, which is why we are here monitoring the situation. All right. Well set up and ready for anything. Well check back with you a little bit later, ok . Well, 74 is the time. Now, according to the associated press, this is actually the second year in a row. The california has had a deficit like this and this size the state has avoided some jordy the painful when it comes to major programs and services. However, there have been cuts for onetime spending and delayed in other spending and also borrowing from other accounts be spoke with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle about the deficit and what they expect to hear from the governor later this morning. We know the revenues generally coming in lower than the forecast and thats concerning. And so we are prepared for some very difficult choices the bottom line is theyre going to make cuts. And its really the democrats. Theyre in a bind because they made all these promises to people all these things. They said theyre going to do and now theyre going to have to break those promises because we simply dont have the revenue and the money to actually do undoubtedly the governor will make some additional loans and deferrals and perhaps even some significant budget cuts will be part of the may budget revision.
