Nice job, little sis they grow up so fast. Im a fan. From xfinity. Welcome back. Aaron. Weve got to talk about cleveland, farrell, he and was drafted by raiders, actually covered him when the raider and oakland his rookie year 4th overall, huge expectations out of clemson. Didnt exactly pan out for the raiders, now hes on the other side and look, look at the play he makes. Im sure this really take operators. Fans. He comes in and gets a sack against a former team. Every report ive read, farrow actually has looked really, really good during training camp. Its going to be interesting just like niners fans. They were probably annoyed jimmy g came in and torched them during these practices. Raiders fans have to feel the same way that their former player realize hes got came in and got back. So good for him. Now, lets pivot back to what everybody is really talking about on twitter. What were going to hear on talk radio. Yeah. Trey lance, what are your final thoughts on his performance in just his outlook overall going for the niners . I will say this right now. It doesnt look as we mentioned right before the break, either one deffinatly definitively took over. The backup qb roles to date between him or sam darnold. But if you had to choose one of the you would probably feel safer using them grow after todays performance just because lance instead, as i mentioned earlier, he doesnt seem comfortable. He finished 10 of those being completed 10 of his 15 passes to finish the day with was 4 yeah, 4 times a lot. Couple of those coming very early in the game. And, you know, you just dont that the moment town to start after some hoping putting right now, im not i know were objective reporters, but i like trey lance. I want to see him succeed teen made hard the team trade today because like so many excuses i want to make. But just from the naked eye, you watch him play. He doesnt look comfortable as our producer pete said. He looks kind of scared out there. A lot of deer in headlights and you know were at some point hes going to have to get on the field and just we havent seen that yet. So, you know, it will be interesting to see how niners play this out. Obviously hes making a lot of money so i couldnt see them have a practice squad quarterback. You know, its its going to be interesting today. Try to trade him today. Just cuts and arnold, who has looked better. It will be interesting. But it will just to see how it how it really plays out. I dont think the trey lance will find his place here. Im being honest. But like i said here, the whole season ahead of him. Lot of games to be played. A lot of football to play right now is just the first game of preseason. Yeah. And you know what . We do have a lot ahead of us. Kron. 4 lot ahead of us. Now, the doctor says, although she lives here in the bay area, her heart is in maui and plans to go and help out as soon as she can. All right. The first thing that comes to mind is why werent people warned . We hear they have sirens everywhere. Somebody forgot to flip the switch. It seems daunting absolutely dumbfounded about why those did not go off. I was mentioning i was there on august. First we heard the sirens. So why those sirens not were not patched into the network to alert people so that they could get out. Like analog. But they were relying on cell phones. The towers went down which we know thats going to happen. So why in the world do they not have a backup by the way, you heard the sirens of test was just a title. They were working correct on august. You go back to health and return it to the wild and thats what help. Thats where i come in tonights flying tails, i got the rare opportunity to flying eagle home. What is it about bald eagles that captures the imagination the size, the power, the majesty, whatever it is. Its not so unusual anymore to see one for yourself in california are very fortunate that of the bald eagle did come off of the endangered list a while back. It was came to the almost the brink of extinction. Wasnt man but likely to ospreys that lead to trouble for this eagle. Probably a fight over fishing lake alma norm, plumas county, the osprey. Im not surprised they probably. Were saying, hey, this is my territory right here. So you stay on this side of the line. We, you spray and bald eagles should be able to compete, in the same area. The injured bird was spotted by boaters picked up and turned over to wildlife care. Specialists veterinarian at Wildlife Center was very worried about shoulder and tendons. She was taken to the Sonoma CountyWildlife Rescue facility because it has 100 foot long fight. Aviary. This is only the second bald eagle to be treated here. If all the egos and apex pc. So they kind of ruled the skies and to have a lawyer like that in our presence was was really extraordinary. Just like with human beings. When youve been out. With an injury, youve got to have a recruit ration period. They have to be successful. They have to be able to go back out there it. And so we dont want to release that until we feel confident that we have conditioning. These birds. And so doris duncan and her team down there did an amazing job was flying for sending us videos every day. The bird was fed mice, fission rabbit and put on a Cardio Program to improve its flying. This knew if they want to be with us. Only took about 12 days for the rehab process and they thought it could be months. The she proved to us as she was ready to go. Thats when we come you, ken. Next thing i know me and my wife, carol, floating a bald eagle into the back of our for the flight to lake eleanor. Traffic sky lead 7, 3, our kind 100 descending. Its a 4 and a half hour drive from sonoma wildlife delay common or its a one hour flight. Greatly reducing the stress level on the bird. Looks like your buddies out their mission and hes going to be too. Coming in on final, some wind gusts started to rock the plane a little. Has minutes later at the edge of lake her crate was covered with burlap to shield her view from humans and to protect your feathers. So we didnt get a really good look at until the moment we said are free. You know, the end goal for everybody that comes into our institution. Is for it to fly free and in when its recuperated. And theres just no better feeling in the world and watching that releasing it yourself or watching that 3rd get released and go back out into the world again. Thats why we left in the square. You know, it can be hardened, julian lots of challenges. But when things like this happens, it makes you feel like you cant wait to go to work the next morning yeah. It is unreal is right. Wow. Can exciting. The eagle has landed. Yes, absolutely. So how did you get wrapped up in this . I mean, its be able to do ive got a very special relationship right now, sonoma Wildlife Rescue, and theyre doing some amazing things. So put me through some training. I have a letter from state fish and wildlife to authorizing me to carry an eagle. So wasnt like i just picked up a bird and took off. So i had to go through a lot to make this happen it was a joy. I mean, just to be there and watched that eagle fly away was so exhilarating of this crime. But wow, yeah, but we could we could sense all of that. You know, most horrific. It was fun. Thank you. Not they were torn down and it became vacant lot. And it looked like a like i said, an atomic bomb hit the film or the demolition happened from 1948. To 1976, with the intent to replace the homes with newly built Affordable Housing. But only a portion were replaced. Scott is the founder and executive director of healing for our families and our nation and says she has watched the percentage of black people in San Francisco dropped from around 15 to now less than 3 when it comes issues like reparations, Affordable Housing, you know, just we always the last one to get serve and always the first ones to healed. Students returning to school this fall have a new tool to help them learn. Reporter Jake Mccluskey talk to some teachers on how they plan to use ai in the classroom. If theyre adaptable and then they are able to take that skill set and use every tool available to them in an ethical way. Thats my Artificial Intelligence is a new technology that has made simple tasks in society much easier with the new tool being available to anyone. Many schools have been looking at ways to use it to help their students learn concepts. That might be difficult for some teachers to explain. I need my sons new had to do hexadecimal not a math teacher. We used ai to do to be more like math tutor for students to learn how to use that. They loved it. They engage with it. Really easy. Technology comes really smooth them. The new technologies abilities will also allow students to focus on different aspects of learning to help them gain a more indepth understanding when kids can figure out the dimensions that go along with it. Maybe you dont understand shakespeare, but my goodness, if you could ask questions what he was thinking i think that you would engage a lot of kids. To not not cheat and figure out the real answers. There has been some skepticism surrounding the new technology, but many teachers are working to show their students, the benefits of it. Teachers have one of 2 options. We can fight against it. Or we can adapt and learn how to use Artificial Intelligence for educational purposes teach students how to use it sickly. The hope for many educators is to prepare students for their future by teaching them how to use ai effectively. We want to be able to prepare the students to be able to leverage i in their future endeavors, whether that be in a collaborative work environment, whether that be you know, in in the university level, whatever that may be, the technology is one that has completely changed the way that teaching and learning will happen in years to come.
