The crash happened around 9 00 this morning on highway 680 in danville north of el cerro boulevard. Its bleechbld the big rig clipped the motorcycle. The officer is expected to recover. San jose arson investigators are trying to figure out what caused a 3alarm fire that shut down part of 101 yesterday. This home video was taken by a neighbor who said he thought he heard an explosion just before the flames broke out. The flames damaged three homes and spread to brush near the freeway. Neighbors say the flames were very intense. On the street here it was a total fire. Whole thing was burning up. Orange huge fire. The fire jumped from those houses all the way over to the other side of the freeway. Arson investigators say theyre looking at all causes including the possibility of illegal fireworks in the area. Nobody was hurt in the blaze. A man who brutally beat up two 49ers fans at levis stadium learned his fate today. Hes been accused in the march kidnapping as well as an assault and attempted robbery in dublin last month.
