We have been keeping tabs on for fires in Santa Clara County a fire is burning 2000 acres in the hills, Contra Costa County a grass fire burned. A refinery, and San Francisco crews put out a small fire in the bay bridge and in Solano County another fire is forcing evacuations right now. Reporter the fire came up right to the backyard and stop by the fence, when you actually look around this area there are charred hillsides surrounding the backyards, we cant homeowners desperately trying to protect their homes from the fire with their hoses, fairfield fire was also on scene trying toput out. According to the fire chief it started somewhere off of link road, the wind once again swept flames of the hill and the fire came out right along a row of homes. I just hope they contain it really fast. Students deserve and our families expect, we must have fewer schools than we do now. By having fewer schools, we can concentrate our resources and enhance program, teacher support, and student services. Superintendent is expected to make recommendations this fall on which schools to close, to merge, or to what they call, colocate. The full changes are slated to be in full effect in the 2025 school year. Earlier this week, San Franciscos Teachers Union released a report blaming most of the Financial Issues on years of district mismanagement. The report says the district spends nearly twice the state average per student on administrative costs. The union said management should examine Office Spending before making painful cuts to school sites. Making the financial situation worse, the School District is giving up on a faulty payroll system after spending more than 30 million trying to fix it. And just yesterday, the district agreed to pay 4. 5 million to settle a sexual abuse lawsuit aga
