And here is a look at one of the active scenes at high street and coliseum way. A large crowd is gathered at the intersection as cars race around the circle. Sideshows have been an ongoing problem in the city. Theyve impounded motorcycles after nearly 200 bikers were performing sideshows. New developments on a deadly pileup in san pablo. Overnight, chp officers arrested a hit and run suspect in connection with the crash. In all, four people died. Six others were injured. Abc 7 news is at the scene on web i80 near San Pablo Dam road. That happened after 8 00 last night. A white sedan hit the center divide. Two suvs were also damaged. The chp says another sedan flipped upside down killing all the passengers inside. One of the vehicles overturned. The driver of that vehicle was transported for his injuries. His four passengers were all pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators say a fifth car involved left the scene. They caught up with that driver. The suspect, several hours later. All lanes on i80 have now reopened. Abc News Reporter linda lopez has more. So many graves and so many more for the over 300 victims including 27 children in the horrifying terrorist attack on an egyptian mosque. The surviving imam conducting prayers recounting the moment the slaughter began. Saying i heard what sounded like an explosion outside the mosque and some people came inside firing at the worshipp s worshippers. Survivors say 125 miles northeast of cairo hurling explosives into the mosque and firing at everybody trying to escape. Then they stepped inside, shooting anybody who was still alive. Many victims said their final prayers during the carnage and they even shot at arriving ambulances. No group has claimed responsibility but the Islamic State is suspected. Those worshipping may have followed a mystical form of islam called suhhism. It connects back to the texas shootings we had recently. People worshipping, killing them doesnt make any point. Swam to the surface to tell his dad what he had seen and when he was at the surface, the shark attacked him. The wetsuit was inside the zodiac. It was shredded. There was a lot of blood. Signs are posted at the beach warning people about the shark attack. There had been previous reports of a shark in that area. The giving spirit is alive and well this holiday season. A few peeks of sun and then this is the secondary or main band with that support still for the heavy downpours and the gusty winds. 10 00 tonight. But the good news is, it pushes on through. By your morning commute tomorrow, this is 3 30 in the morning. Just a few showers and there you are, 8 00, 9 00, were back into sunshine. Rainfall amounts anywhere from about a third of an inch to upwards of perhaps a half inch or 3 4 of an inch in the north bay. Notice the amounts are fairly uniform. Well get this done. Heavy downpours briefly and with the winds, this is the cold frontal passage here. Were looking at 10 00 this morning. Still winds up to 20 miles an hour. Then we get a lull throughout the evening hours. Then it picks up again. Youll notice by 11 00 tonight, some of the breezy winds pushing into the east bay and then we are kind of behind the system and well get back into a more comfortable pattern. But we could use the rain. We could use more of these syste systems. This one bringing 4 to 8 inches. A Winter Weather advisory in the Sierra Nevada through tomorrow morning and snow amounts, looks like kirkwood could get a foot. Maybe 5 inches tahoe city and high temperatures today anywhere from the low to mid60s. We will be breezy. It will be showery for the 49ers game, the raiders game. Reporter its a day that craig might otherwise dread. Yet another trip to the doctor. Another visit among many for the bone cancer survivor. Everybody is really interesting. Reporter but on this day, his trip will be a bit easier because he knows he wont be alone. The ride is the obvious thing you really need the ride. But they have empathy and concern for people that have cancer. I was here before it was fremont. Teixeira is another one of the bay area Cancer Patients benefiting from drivers for survivors. Volunteers like this man commit to not only picking up and delivering patients to their appointments, but they also provide companionship along the way. Whatever distraction i can and say hey, did you see the ball game yesterday . Now in its fifth year, drivers for survivors is expanding beyond the area to several more cities and the nonprofit formed a partnership with kaiser permanente. We have the tools for diagnosis, for treatment, but we have the emotional support items as we have our network in the community. It is a challenging time for those that get diagnosed and being able to have a friend that actually goes with you and cares about your wellbeing its going to be an hour and a half. Get seen by your doctor and you have somebody there supporting you when you walk out of the office. You feel like somebody is in your corner. Its really nice. In fremont, Laura Anthony, abc 7 news.
