Stay at home, officials said Wednesday evening, because this storm was one for the books.
A severe snowstorm impacted parts of the country Wednesday into Thursday, and in Pennsylvania, meteorologists said it was the biggest storm in the last few years.
In a typical December, Pennsylvanians can expect anywhere between 5 to 8 inches of snow, according to state Meteorologist Jeff Jumper. But like many things with 2020, this isn't a normal December.
"In some spots, we're predicting over 18 inches to 2 feet of snow," Jumper said. "This could be the biggest storm in two to three years."
Beaver County saw up to 8 inches in Monaca and Rochester. A little over 5 inches was reported in Ohioville, 6.8 inches in Aliquippa and 6.5 inches in Beaver.
