VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) -- The Kiwanis and Vincennes Parks and Recreation Department’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday in Gregg Park, 2204 Washington Ave.
Last year, the pandemic allowed no eggs to be discovered. "It was really the first thing that we had to cancel because of the pandemic -- rightfully so -- but now spring is coming," Steve Beaman, Vincennes' Parks and Rec superintendent, said. "You can hear the birds out here, even though it's a little cool today, but we're really looking forward to it."
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with the hunt following at 11:00 a.m. Children will be divided into four age groups and prizes will be given out after the hunt.
