ALBANY — In case you haven't heard, there's a big snow storm rolling through much of the northeast later Wednesday evening.
Some areas are going to be hit harder than others, forecasts say.
Monroe County, for example, is expected to see only 1 to 3 inches of snow, while Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung and Tompkins counties to the south could see up to a foot of snow Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.
And there could be even more through the Hudson Valley and south.
For the folks envious of the heavy snowfall other areas of New York will see, there's a way to keep an eye on all that snowfall as it accumulates — the New York State Mesonet.
