STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Spring is in full swing in the region, a formidable time for foodies who love their local produce. Enter the Greenmarket at the Staten Island Mall, which returns this Saturday, May 8 for the 2021 season.
Rain or shine, growers from the region will station themselves at Marsh Avenue and Ring Road each Saturday through mid-December. Fresh-caught seafood, local honey, young spring veggies, artisan baked goods and cheeses are some of the products typically available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
