Gingerbread battle among police departments

It may not be the “Great British Baking Show,” but area police departments are being just as competitive showing off their creative culinary talents in a gingerbread house contest. And Walpole police's entry is one of the finalists.
The sugary competition is being held by Mansfield sixth-grader Dakota Matthews of She Loves Police.
Dakota, 11, shares her love for police officers with the public by posting her visits on her She Loves Police Facebook page, raising funds for officers, and now holding a gingerbread contest for them.
Dakota’s mission is to meet a police officer in every city and town of Massachusetts.  Dakota visited 211 departments in the cities and towns in Massachusetts and 11 others.
