anchor: the passenger is unknown. reporter: a witness driving home from work said he saw the plane going down and the pilot jumping out of the plane before it crashed. the other passenger has not recovered. cell phone video shows the moment after a plane crashed in east hartford. saw the plane come down. hit the wires. then hit a pole. then he smashed in the ou reporter: the plane was coming down low. he knew it wasn t going to make it. i know the pilot jumped out of the plane and suffered a burnt arm and unfortunately the passenger didn t make it. reporter: 2 people were on the plane and the pilot was rushed to the hospital. that s all we know at this point. there were 2 occupants of that air craft. one of which was transported to the hospital. the second is unaccounted for at this time. reporter: the plane went down at the hartford brain ard airport. there were a lot of people driving home from work when the plane crashed right in front of them. a woma ....
