Sean: welcome to hannity. And tonight, my monologue is only moments away. But the former first lady, melania trump sat down for a rare tv interview. Here is an exclusive preview. Your chief of staff called you after the assassination. And said, he is okay, but there has been a shooting. What happened next? i saw it, you know, i it was only nobody really knew yet. Because when you see him on the floor and you don't know. You don't know what really happened. Sean: coming up, ainslie will join us with more of her interview with melania trump. It will air in full on fox and friends tomorrow. Starting at 6:00 a. M. On the fox news channel. First we turn our attention to another interview on another network. I didn't think there were other networks. But kamala harris sat down for her first and solo national interview, her first of the campaign, how brave. With one of her top supporters, stephanie rule. She is a big supporter of kamala harris. She is rooting for kamala to win. That's fine in my book. She is a radical, left wing talk show host. This was not a hard hitting interview with a nonpartisan reporter. That's okay. I interviewed donald trump, and i want donald trump to win. I am not shy about it. I say it all the time. We have members of we are both members of the press. She thinks she is a journalist. She is not. She is a talk show host like me. I am honest about who i am. Donald trump doesn't just talk to yours truly, he answers questions and does press eveils on every network. Even on networks that hate him which is most of the media mob. So for tonight's appearance to be the only solo national television interview after the 16 minutes and 29 seconds with tim walz on fake news cnn, it is troubling when she can't even answer a single question without contradicting herself. For example, here she is vowing to fix the economy. Last year she was saying, we call it bidenomics and we are so proud of it. Take a look. We have aspirations. We have dreams. We can see what is possible. We have an incredible work ethic. But not everyone has the access to the opportunities that allow them to achieve those things. But we don't lack for those things. But not everyone you know gets handed stuff on a silver platter. All that, ladies and gentlemen, and everyone else, that is called bidenomics. (laughter). That is called bidenomics and we are very proud of bidenomics. Sean: oh, the giggling vice president, proud of bidenomics, until the reality set in, that oh, i am not so proud. She talked about fixing the border but during the height of the border crisis, the border czar told you that the border was secure and it never was. And everyone knew it. Take a look. Well first of all, we have a broken immigration system. Mmhmm. It needs to be fixed. The border is secure. You are confident that the border is secure? we have a secure border in that, that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration. Sean: she wants free housing, health care, food, education, amnesty, and oh, sex change operations for illegal immigrant to reward them for their behaviour. Is she going to be asked by the media, i doubt it. And look at your screen. Will she be asked about her radical stated positions in her own words. Tonight there was no mention of support for getting rid of the phillibuster on banning private health insurance and fracking and off shore drilling and decriminalizing illegal immigration. And offering free everything for illegals. And then we have kamala harris saying even those in jail will get sex change operations. And kamala harris struggled again, this was supposed to be an easy interview. With a friendly msnbc talk show host going to bat for her over the weekend. Take a look. It is not a lot to ask her for a real interview as opposed to a puff piece in which she describes like her feelings of growing up in oakland. I would just say to that, when you move to nirvana, i will be your next door neighbour. I just said i am not going to run for her. She is running against trump. We have two choices. So there are some things you might not know her answer to, and in 2024, unlike 2016 for a lot of the american people, we know exactly what trump will do, who he is, and the kind of threat he is to democracy. It is not nirvana to expect someone that wants to be president to answer questions about what she says she wants to do. She had a hard time answering questions from a loyalist reporter, how is she going to confront putin or chi as president. And by the way we reported last night, the islamic republic of iran they are actively trying to murder donald trump. This should come as no surprise. There was a cheap, poorly produced video fantacizing about killing trump at mara largo. And now coordinated efforts from iran to assassinate donald trump are intensifying as the election nears. It has never been this loud or dangerous. But at the same time, the iranian president is in our country, allowed in this country to spew antiamerican rhetoric, and antisemetic rhetoric at the united nations, here is how donald trump responded. We are under threat. I have been threatened directly. And i appreciate the agencies that we have been meeting with. But we have been threatened directly by iran. And i think you have to let them know, because the best way to do it is through the office of the president that you do any attacks on former presidents or candidates for president, your country gets blown to smitherinse as we say. Sean: they will not hear that from kamala harris or joe biden. They are not going to defend donald trump and his supporters from threats from a foreign nation. A radical islamic terrorists supported nation. The number one state sponsor of terrorism. They talk about their rhetoric against donald trump. Trying to intear fear in this election. Murder donald trump. They tried to hack his campaign emails. No one in the press seems to give a dam. And the dangerous rhetoric continues. This includes biden's commerce secretary who just called on msnbc for donald trump to be extinguished for good. It is another lie. How did we get here, let's extinguish him for good. We have an answer. We have a talented candidate who is sincere and pragmatic and open. Let's get it done. Extinguish, you mean vote him out. Yes, absolutely. Vote him out. Sean: donald trump has just survived not one but two assassination attempts all why iran is trying to finish the job. And they still didn't sweep the area around trump international. And a member of biden's cabinet is calling for trump to be extinguished for good. Beyond irresponsible. And secret service maybe does her what she meant by that. It is not just the view joe biden pretend to do squish donald trump like a bug. Maybe not the smartest move. Take a look. He is blaming rhetoric from you that you inspired these two assassination attempts. After all of the calls for violence, you know, take them out, and all the rest of it. You know what it is. Don't you think that is unbelievable and what do you say to that? i think he is the most unusual president. When i ran, i said i was running one of the first major speeches i made was for independence, and it was about democracy. That democracy is at stake. Look, trump is a. Careful. (laughter). Not a lot of social redeeming value there. He just wouldn't he was like a bug. He just kept being there. Like a bug right there. So you felt [ cheering and applause ] sean: according to democrats, he is a threat to our survival. They compare him to hitler, and vilify him around every turn. After trump was almost murdered, take a look. A genuine danger to american security. Donald trump presents a challenge and a threat, fundamentally to the republic. Donald trump is an existential threat to the democracy and fundamental freedoms. Don't give them a power, are they a threat to democracy, yes. Are they taking our rights away, yes. He presents a existential threat to democracy. He is going to transition this country from a democracy to a dictatorship. He is paving the way to become a vladimir putin or to become an adolf hitler. That's what he wants to be. We have to defeat a person who was a threat to our democracy. Jesse: reckless, irresponsible and consistent. That's it. That's the new radical extreme marxist leftest party that wants to get in power. This is not new. The left in this country has been fantasizing about this. He is not only unfit. He is destructive to our democracy and he has to be he has to be eliminated. The donor class can't sit back on the sidelines and say, don't worry this will work itself out. They are still going to have to put a bullet in donald trump. And that's a fact. Yes, i have thought an awful lot about blowing up the whitehouse. When was the last time an actor assassinated a president, i want to clarify i am not an actor, i lie for a living. However, it has been a while. And maybe it is time. How dare he say the things he does. Of course i want to punch him in the face. The press always ask me, don't i wish i were debating him. No i wish i was in high school and i would take him behind the gym. With this kind of inspiration, i will go and take trump out tonight. Sean: eliminated, put a bullet in trump. Blow up the whitehouse, when was the last time that an actor killed a president, i will take him out tonight. If you are a trump hater or a democrat, you will get a pass. Your violent rhetoric, you can joke about killing a president, you can glorfy violent crime and rioting. The current democratic nominee for president kamala harris has done both. Take a look. If you were stuck with an elevator with president trump, mike pence or jeff sessions, who would it be? does one have to come out alive? they are not going to stop before election day in november and they are not going to stop after election day. And that should be everyone should take note of that on both levels. They will not let up. And they should not. Trump is a threat to our democracy and he only fights for himself, not you. They said do you think trump is responsible for what happened, and i said look, he didn't pull the trigger but he certainly has been tweeting out the ammunition. Sean: the rioters won't stop. They shouldn't stop or we are not going to stop supporting them. And by the way, a lot of this said after the assassination attempt, two against donald trump. But if the roles were reversed, could you imagine the hysteria of state run media mob. The would be asasen on the trump golf course, 300 yards away from the former president who was heading in his direction hiding in an area never swept by the secret service, even though they knew about this iranian threat. Even though unauthorized p paparassi was set to post there. And then tonight, preliminary senate report out on the assassination attempts in butler pennsylvania, startling failures of the secret service, the only drone individuals controlled by an agent that had one hour of informal training on the advice. Had to call a toll free number for technical help with the drone he is operating, more alarming, the lead secret service agent at the rally was aware of credible intelligence about a threat against trump but never passed it along to fellow agents. Meanwhile, the on sight communication is a complete disaster. Secret service agents observe local law enforcement running to the building, guns drawn with a shooter stationed. But didn't know what was happening. I mean, what is going on here. This doesn't take away from the heroism of the agents in butler or in florida around donald trump. There have been numerous disasters for nearly four years in the biden administration. One crisis after another. Selfimposed. If you aric looking for someone to blame, start at the top. Work your way down. Take a look. As vice president, there was not a single thing that i did that she couldn't do. So i was able to delegate her responsibility everything from foreign policy to domestic policy. Sean: after the last four years, that is probably the single worst thing biden could have said about harris. She might be a more extreme version of joe. The new york post uncovered kamala's past support for hand gun confiscation. And she would blow someone away in her house, and she is packing. Just add it to the list that is growing about kamala's radical positions that make her the most extreme radical candidate to ever run for that office. Joining us with more, the house judiciary chairman jim jordan. And joe concha. Let's talk about the rhetoric, jim jordan. If i said the things that you just heard, what would the narrative be if i said it about democrats, which of course i wouldn't say. Of course you wouldn't. But there would be all kinds of things said about you after those statements. What about the real threats. The real threat of iran who said they wanted to assassinate president trump. Iran who hacked president trump's campaign, got a 271 page dossier on jd vance that they put together when they vetted the vp and leaks it to the harris campaign. And it ends up in the press. How about that threat. We are trying to get answers from the fbi, we have not got it yet. Did they give president trump a defensive briefing. This is iran for goodness sake. This is a real threat versus the talk from the left about president trump. When president trump was in office, iran was not behind attacks on israel. Russia was not in ukraine. I want to know how that got hacked. Because if it was, oh, iran hacks the harris campaign and gave a 271 page dossier on tim walz to the trump campaign, oh, my goodness there would be a special counsel. That's the real threat. They can say what they want but i think that the american people see through it all. Sean: joe you study this constantly. And you watch this pathetic interview. I will scroll the questions that were not brought up tonight. I go through the list often. Your reaction. Sean you are right about that. The rhetoric remember after donald trump was elected, there was literally in central park a rendition of ceaser, except ceaser was donald trump and he is shown stabbed to death. And cathy griffin held up a severed head of the likeliness of donald trump. This has been going on for many years. And many people might be triggered by that to take the president's life. We saw exactly why stephanie was chosen to conduct the interview, if we can call it that. Not one fact check, during or after the fact check. Not one interruption, once again. And kamala harris sounded, again, like a sophomore trying to give an oral book report. Not one question on joe biden's mental decline and kamala harris's role in the biggest cover up in political history. Not one question on taxing unrealized capital gains. Not one question on kamala on tape, chanting over and over, down with deportation after her first run for president. Do you still support shutting down all deportations, madam vice president, you once compared ice agents to the kkk. Hey, ms. Harris, do sanctuary cities work? you signed a petition that the u. S. Government should pay for sex changes for illegals, is that still the case. Ms. Harris, can men get pregnant, and kamala harris, the most scripted rehersed candidate you will ever see. During her first answer before the first sentence she was talking about hopes and dreams and aspirations. Within the first 90 seconds, she reminded us she grew up in a middle class household. And she went back to hopes and dreams and aspirations. During one answer on tax rates, she said no less than four times in the same answer, people need to pay their fair share. And asked why the teemsters wouldn't endorse her, she wouldn't answer at all. As we are seeing with polls showing they are forecasting a 3 point popular vote victory for trump and they are accurate in these situations, she is going to have to go with a different approach and it will not work in pennsylvania, and georgia and arizona and north carolina. Sean: i want to talk about the weaponization of the justice department. We expect tomorrow on the january 6th case which we have five people and donald trump all confirming that he authorized national guard troupes prior to january 6th on january 3rdrd. But they are going to lay out this case, while early voting is going on, 40 days before an election. My understanding is that that violates a provision in the doj manual. It is obviously political and designed to put the allegations in front of the american people before the election, with no meaningful chance of rebuttal, and all the media will do is quote it. Yeah. Sean: is that the doj putting cinder blocks on the scale of an election, what a shock. Yeah, and we had a hearing today where we had the inspector general for the justice department in and he basically said, under questioning from a member, he believes that there were confidential human sources here on january 6th. We want that report released. He didn't absolutely confirm that, but it sounded like that was the case. And that report is not going to come out based on his testimony today, not going to come until after the election. That is information we would like to know now. 41 days before the most important election we have in our country. Sean: well, the doj needs it not do this tomorrow. And there are questions about the legitimatesy of the appointment of the special counsel as determined by the florida judge. Jim jordan, joe concha thank you. We have breaking news. Eric adams was indicted. And he will face charges. The indictment is sealed. It is unclear what charges he will be facing. We will follow this developing story. Sources telling fox news that in fact, the new york city mayor was dindicted by the department of justice. This could become public as soon as tomorrow. We will continue to follow this breaking story. That's coming up straight ahead. And in a few minutes, fox and friends co host has a sneak preview of the interview with melania trump. It will air tomorrow between 6 and 9. Here is a preview of one of the questions, this one about the raid at mara lago. How invasive was that, how did it make you feel? it made me angry. Invasion of privacy. And the way it was done i was really surprised. Sean: we will show you more of the interview. She will join us in a few moments. But first today, in pittsburgh, vice president kamala harris laid out her plan to save the american economy. What has she been doing for four years, take a look at this, and prepare to be inspired. I grew up in a middle class family. And while we were more fortunate than many, i still remember my mother sitting at the yellow table, late at night, cup of tea in hand with a pile of bills in front of her, just trying to make sure that she paid them off by the end of the month. And more. Because frankly, having a job i believe in our ambition and aspiration should be baseline. And we should aspire and have the ambition and plan to do more. Let it always inspire us, let it always be the source of our optimism which is that spirit that is so uniquely american. And let that then inspire us by helping us to be inspired to solve the problems. Sean: so what do the american people think of this. Sarah carter in pittsburgh asked them today. Who you do you feel about her coming to talk about her economic plan. She talked about the opportunity economy was the buzz word. Sounds vague. I am not impressed. I feel like a lot of things she could have done the previous three years with the biden administration. She is not a one man show and she can't do everything. We would have a whole issue of people that say she is doing a power grab. She really can't satisfy everyone. So she is trying to bring attention to everything that everyone individually is asking for. She has talked about why, we have to have a national health care. We have to get rid of private health care. And then she back tracks on that. And she talks about free stuff. Lots of free stuff. Well nothing is free, right? i mean it is coming out of every american you want to say it is free. But that means it will increase tax. If nothing is free, does that concern you. We have such high inflation, we are trillions of dollars in debt, where does she get the money for this? um, it is like i don't know. It is like kind of weird to. Where is she going to get the money for this here with reaction, david asmond, and trump economic adviser, steve moore. David let's start with you. People got mad on social media. Donald trump gave a hundred dollars to somebody out of his own pocket at a grocery store yesterday. I thought it was a nice gesture. He is trying to buy her vote. What do you call student loan forgiveness for brats that go to harvard and yale. What do you call taxpayer money for new homes or $50,000 to start a business. That sounds like incrementalism, new green dealism to me, that would destroy capitalism in my view. And of course it is not her money. It is our money that she is reaching into the grab bag of all the tax revenues that come in and giving it to federal bureaucracies. And she is buying votes. But again not with her money but with our money. It is crazy. She talked about a lot of things today in those platitudes. Some of the students' comments were brilliant by the way. They understand the difference between the platitudes and the reality. That they have to live with and their parents have to live with. She talked about housing. She said that today the housing market has been bad before the pandemic. Now that is a lie. Before the pandemic, americans could afford a home. Not only were the prices down but the monthly payments were about $1,100 for a 30 year fixed rate mortgage. Now they are twice that. And that doesn't include the rising price of insurance and the rising price of taxation, et cetera. She talks about a holistic method of housing. What the hell to a holistic method of housing mean? we know what she wanted in the past. She wanted federal rent control. She wants the government which would essentially mean that the government would have to take over renting in this country. That's public housing. Ask anyone who now lives or has lived in public housing how that has worked out. I used to teach junior high school in a place called cabrini green in chicago. It was a public housing project until it was so filled with prosecution, and rats, and drugs, they had to mow it down. It doesn't exist any more. That's public housing. That's what she wants. That's her holistic method. Sean: what about the highest tax increase not only in the history of america but the world, steve moore? you have two new charges, one on inflation and one on real income. If you could explain those to us? we had no inflation, sean, as you know when donald trump was president. Which was why i laugh when i hear liberal friends saying that inplagues is going to be worse inflation is going to be worse under trump. No it was biden that took inflation to 9%. And now it is 20%. You asked the question to david about how she is going to pay for this. And she is going to try to tax the rich and anyone who thinks you can pay for trillions and trillions of dollars of spending by taxing the millionaires and billionaires. There are not enough of them. But they are going to print the money. And anyone with a junior high education knows that if you are spending trillions of dollars and you are printing that money, what happens to inflation? it is going to go way up. You know i listened to donald trump's speech yesterday in georgia on the economy, and you know, sean, that was filled with i mean he must have put 25 new ideas out there. I don't agree with the ideas. I agree with most of what trump wants to do. I don't like the idea of credit card price controls. But he is putting out there and telling the american people, here is what i am going to do. Kamala is like the dodger. She has not other than that one housing plan, she refuses to tell the american people what she is going to do. It is all platitudes about how she cares about the middle class. If she cares about the middle class, why didn't they do anything. Sean: she has a record. And she has to live with the record that she has. And manufactured it. We lost 31,000 manufacturing jobs. She talked about the baseline has to be jobs. And she talks about how well they did with manufacturing. Tell that to one of the 31,000 manufacturing jobs that have been lost. Sean: and consumer confidence at a three year low. Donald trump, no tax on tips, or overtime or social security. That helps working men and women. All right. Thank you both. The race between harris and trump tighter than ever. It is a dead even race at this point. And as we continue with the polls, swing state polls are looking good for donald trump. Trump is up 5. Arizona, two, north carolina. Last week, atlanta journal constitution had him up by three in georgian bay. But the new york times poll that skews left. This same poll was off by five points in north carolina. Off by 6 in arizona. And more bad news for harris. The vp struggling among key demographics. The ones that supported democrats in past elections, a new cnn poll finding harris leads. Trump among young voters but only by 12%. Maybe if she stopped saying they are stupid. That would help. Joe biden won the same age group with over 20 point margin. That is what is happening. Anyways, pollsters are joining us with inside advantage, and robert hailey. How do you interpret this, and what is the messaging that needs to get out by the trump campaign? okay, very quickly, there are three good reasons for trump folks to be happy right now. The gallop poll that you mentioned earlier. And the clear politics, nationally and in the individual battle ground states trump is running ahead of where he was in 2016 and 2020. You are seeing a trending in the national polls as well. I see a problem for them, one, i don't think there is a big digital presence right now. The democrats are beating them. And in terms of the enthusiasm gap, there is a little bit of a gap. The trump campaign needs to get the old republicans that helped him in 2016 to bring them back on board to get the grass roots republican support. Sean: who are you talking about? who specifically? no one specifically. I talk to political folks who are elected officials and the like. They don't feel as engaged as they could be. And that is needed to get people to turn out. And even you have brian kemp in georgia, he is not actively involved in the campaign. You have to get people on the ground that can turn out the loyal republicans. Sean: he has pledged he is going to help president trump and he is having every republican in the state of georgia. Yeah, robert, let me ask you. And what is the messaging that needs to go out, early voting has started. Is it beginning to penetrate into the consciousness of the american people just how radical, extreme, and dangerous her policies really are? well, we really see penetrating this idea, and bernie sanders said it best on the face of nation, she is a committed leftest, and progressive. But in every way, she is saying what it takes to win the election. And people are beginning to see that she is saying what it takes, and it is not what she really believes. And the fact that she has been painted as radical left is giving them doubt. Sean: what do you make of the ballot requests being down for democrats, matt, last question. I think it means something. There are a lot of trend lines that are going in the republican favour. But remember, it is the get out to vote enthusiasm and making sure you get the people to the polls, the democrats are darn good at that. Sean: what do you think, robert, what does that mean? i think what matt said. It is good news for the republicans but the democrats will get very close byelection day. So keep it up. Sean: all right.
