should i be tough and nasty? or should i be tough and nasty and say you are the worst president in history or should i be nice and calm and let him speak? >> the former president is also tweaking his opponent on truth social with his post. drug test for crooked joe biden? i would also immediately agree to one. jesse i will go to you on that one. so what is donald trump talking about and what do you think will happen? >> i think biden needs to be like trump and trump needs to be a little sleepy. let me explain why. biden has a problem with his base. needs to show that he is alive and he needs to show that he's going to rip trump's face-off because let's be honest the democrat base they made it about hating donald trump. he's going to be taking shots in the jungle juice and he's going to be saying all these nasty personal things about donald trump's character and trump has to remain calm. you know that 24-hour rule? i'm sure you've been made aware of it. if someone sends you an e-mail and it makes you really angry, you wait 24 hours and then you respond the next day logically. not to emotionally. trump is not going to have that. he will have about 90 seconds. use it and compose yourself. then come out with something rational instead of just... trump space is good. we are not needing him to go out there and light joe on fire. we need to see a column, measured guy that can compare four years of your term to four years of his term and that's pretty much all you need to do. biden is going to bail and he will try to make trump snap. the more trump snaps the worse it's going to go for him. biden is going to make the whole debate about trump and trump needs to make the debate about the american people. when joe biden says you were bankrupt six times, he should say you've bankrupted the country. he should say i have a 10 billion-dollar company, i wouldn't hire you to serve ice cream, you would probably steal it. if he says you are a convicted felon. i said, yeah, you are trying to throw me in prison because you are scared of me. you should be trying to lock up guys that murdered laken riley. you are locking up the wrong people. you are catching and releasing killers. joe was going to brag about all the jobs he's created and say listen joe, you help -- let me help you with the math, half of those jobs were illegals. he will say you killed my portobello and then i say you need my help to secure the border? i didn't need anybody's help, i must be a better president. so that's how you do it. i think bringing 16 guys to camp david, when you go to war, you bring eight guys from the joint chiefs of staff to the situation room. he needs 16 guys for debate prep? i wish he took his presidency as seriously as he's taking this debate. >> donald trump is not just going to be debating joe biden. he's going to be debating to people who have already indicated their -- there about hatred for him. if we are really trying to be objective about anything, they should be the last people to actually do this interview, given statements that they've made about him. how do you feel about that? >> i would say the trump campaign agreed to the debate and the moderators. case closed. >> with joe biden do the same with people who hated him? >> they took the debate commission out of this conversation when they agreed to this debate with cnn. that debate is over for the trump campaign on that point. i do agree with jesse on a lot of his points. upper o'clock can be right to. i think for president biden the trick is to go out there and show energy level and strength. and to do a debate similar to what we saw in the state of the union. for both trump and biden, the audience that they are talking to, if you voted, you are looking to see how well he does against trump. folks who said i might have voted for trump last time but i'm not sure i like him now. i voted for by the last time i'm not sure if i like him now. there watching debates to figure out which candidate am i going to vote for. or am i going to vote third party. there's a large swath of the electorate. this is what wins you michigan or pennsylvania or wisconsin. they are going to have to talk about why they would be better, why they're years are better than the other candidates. what you will see joe biden do is talk about the overturning of roe v. wade. the anniversary of when that decision was overturned today and he's going to have to acknowledge the real impact that inflation has had on the american people and counter that with the fact... and here's what i plan to do to make your life even easier. and talk about some of the winds that he's had. things the president should be touting as a win for him. [ simultaneous talking ] >> the biden campaign is underwater. the approval rating is underwater so he's got to convince americans that life is great now. >> he had 16 people there to help. that's a lot of pallbearers. i love that tip, tell joe to smile. talk about not reading the room. joe shouldn't smile because the only way he's going to connect with americans is feeling as bad as they do. americans are not smiling. if you show up smiling, backslapping mr good time in the era of crime, illegal immigration, inflation, anti-semitism, it's like going to a funeral just as ronald mcdonald. that's the worst thing he can do. i hope he does it. remember trump and the republicans did not set low expectations for joe. joe did. these are the cards that they are dealt and they are playing them. i already predict the outcome. it will be written in the corporate press. we've never seen him more shocked they will sound friday. he still got it, he showed the naysayers that not only is he fit to be president, he should be president. he so clear and on point. that's probably already written but i agree with your earlier question judge. i think the real story is the moderators. for cnn sake they have to confront joe biden on the fine people hoax because it was his reason for running and cnn posted. they need to approach this because they need to dispel their bias. moderators with a long history of going after trump in a vicious manner including comparing his words tim mein kampf. they are also leading the charge on killing democracy and that is the primary narrative. so that's the elephant in the room. it's not jo's mental cognition, it's how the hosts do their jobs while already openly revealing their hatred for that. i think maybe tapper should ask joe now that you know that the fine people hoax is false, how do you feel about the racial division, the conflict and all of the violence that flowed from that over four years, especially now with this rabid anti-semitism which is real and that one was false. as for the convicted felon thing, i think trump should quote andrew cuomo. he said that trial never should have been brought. if the name wasn't trump and he wasn't running for president, and never would've been brought. that's what is offensive. then i would say if i were trump i would say that selection interference out in the open. a subversion of democracy, using the justice system as a weapon and people know this. hence the fundraising that trump has raised to a point that it's cancelled out biden's. january 6th is going to come up. i think trump has got to market. no one was armed, there were grandmothers there. they were people who had never been to a protest in their life. escorted by the capitol police like they were on a tour. the right has a few nuts but compared to the left's protests, those are naughtier than elephant poop so spare me, how are you going to do a coup with grandmothers and old vets with flags? i think he's got a point out that that was in not an attempt to take over government, it was to prevent one. it wasn't because of trump fermenting the suspicion it was because of the democratic party's fomenting the suspicion with russia gate, suppressing the laptop, the p. tape, drinking bleach. all of these things made you feel that something was up and also when you compare the candidate to hitler, then you realize they have the moral imperative to break all the rules. so it's not about trump pushing an insurrection, they did it themselves. >> the fact is that the dems with all of these pro- palestine, these gaza protesters, the anti- israel protesters, we found out at columbia university the ones who broke into the building literally broke into it, boston glassed, used hammers to break in and take over. they are not charging them. but january 6th, that was a takedown of democracy. >> nobody above the law except for leftists who use violence to get their way. quickly on that contract between the approaches. when president biden has to have 16 advisors for a weak versus donald trump who is still on the campaign trail commending rooms by himself, that shows people the difference here. also the commentary about how the room has been childproof for donald trump appeared joe biden is the one who has to go up the short stairs on air force one and the one who was blaming staff because he fell over when he gave that commencement speech after tripping. there's the talk about convicted felon. trump could biden and say i was in my right mind to stand trial with special counsel told you that you are not going to be charged for multiple felonies which you committed because you couldn't remember anything and you are not in a good mental state to stand trial. there are some things they can do with the attacks that are coming but i think the contrast is quite interesting. biden is looking up holes and focus groups and trump is out among the people. >> out there talking to the people and you don't have to worry about his quips. coming up, the death penalty not ruled out for one of the illegal immigrant monsters who murdered a 12-year-old girl. the liberal media says don't you dare call them illegal. what about africa?
