'Deal with the government',  these were the words of Goundar Shipping Limited owner George Goundar when asked for a comment on allegations of human trafficking made against him.
Goundar in an exclusive interview with
FijiLive said he has nothing to say about human trafficking allegations made against him.
“Deal with government, we have nothing to say,” he said.
This after seven Filipino men reported him to Police for alleged human trafficking after he refused to pay for their fare back home after sacking them.
“An investigation of human trafficking against Goundar Shipping is underway but the company had also lodged a complaint against the victims,” said Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro.
