EOHU region added 109 COVID-19 cases since Friday

The early Monday afternoon update of local COVID-19 numbers pushed the region to totals that few would ever have expected, when the pandemic was declared over a year ago.
Between the last update Friday afternoon and Monday’s total, 109 cases were added, with the active caseload total currently at 510. The cumulative number of cases is now at 4,103, with 3,500 cases listed as resolved.

The death toll increased by one, someone based in Cornwall, and stands at 93. There are 33 patients in hospital, with 10 in ICU.
