PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has recorded 1,870 Covid-19 cases and six deaths in the past 24 hours.
Johor recorded the highest number of cases for the first time with 607 infections.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 745 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 87,460.

In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 110,485.
There are 22,562 active cases with 131 patients in intensive care, of which 62 require respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the six deaths bring the toll to 463.
The six deaths involved five Malaysians and one foreigner each from Sabah, Selangor and Johor. They were aged between 45 and 69 and all except the foreigner had pre-existing conditions.
