Covid-19: Eight deaths (two in Sabah), 3,211 new cases nationwide (514 in Sabah) | Daily Express Online

PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported 3,211 Covid-19 cases and eight deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,939 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 115,227.
In a statement Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 151,066.

There are 35,253 active cases with 204 patients receiving intensive care, of which 87 require respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the eight deaths raises the toll to 586.
Of the new cases today, only five were imported while 3,206 were local infections.
The eight fatalities involved seven Malaysians and one foreigner, with four deaths reported in Selangor, two in Sabah and one each in Johor and Kedah.
