THE Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Division (PDRRMD) is bracing for the arrival of about 800 to 1000 locally stranded individuals (LSIs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) from Manila and Cebu on Sunday, December 20.
Dr. Zephard Gerhart Caelian, PDRRMD head, said that because of storm signal number 1, which was hoisted over most of the Visayas, including Negros Occidental, their expected arrival will be delayed by a day , including those coming in via the Tabuelan Port, Cebu.
Earlier, lawyer Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, said a total of 600 LSIs are expected to arrive at the Bacolod-Silay Airport on December 21 via three flights.
