Bayonne’s annual Earth Day cleanup will be on April 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“Earth Day 2021 will provide residents a great opportunity to volunteer to clean up and beautify our community,” Mayor James Davis said. “It’s a day when we can work together building community spirit and a cleaner city.”
Last year, the city held a socially distant at-home cleanup due to the stay-at-home order prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents cleaned garbage and debris in front of and around their homes, such as used masks and gloves that continue to litter streets and sidewalks.
