SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Although 21 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Thursday by the Sheboygan County Division of Pubic Health, 21 recoveries meant no change in the number of active cases experienced currently in the county, which stands at 146. 12,847 cases have been totaled so far, and 128 have not survived. Two more persons in hospitals raised the patient total to 9. That statistic had fallen as low as 3 twice this month, but began rising again on Tuesday. The 21 positive test results comprised 4.4% of all results received since Wednesday.
The two-week rates and trajectories have now been updated, and in Sheboygan County for the period 2/10-2/23, the activity level was “High” at a burden rate of 214.8 cases per 100,000 persons. The trajectory indicated no significant change.
