After going more than two weeks without one, a death attributable to COVID-19 was reported in Sheboygan County by the Division of Public Health in its regular update. The person was 80 or older, and brings the toll to 134. Among that number, one was between 10 and 19 years old, three were in their 30s, five were in their 40s, five in their 50s, twenty-one were in their 60s, twenty-eight were in their 70s and seventy-one were 80 or older.
After gaining 21 cases on Wednesday, only minor changes were noted, with 4 new positive tests for COVID-19 received on Thursday; and with 9 recoveries, the active case count dropped six to 156. 13,268 county residents have now had COVID-19. Hospitalizations were down by one, to 1 person.
