AREA SCHOOLS PREP FOR CONVENTIONAL GRADUATION – MOSTLY

After last year’s classes of 2020 experienced their high school graduations in ways no one could have imagined because of the pandemic, public school districts in Sheboygan County have much more conventional ideas in mind this time around. Last week, the Sheboygan Area School District announced a return to the traditional in-person ceremony on Saturday, June 5th at Vollrath Park, with a rain date of Sunday the 6th.  Due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, two ceremonies will be held; South High at 11 AM and North High at 2 PM.  An indoor option was not considered for safety reasons,  and attendees are being asked to mask up, use social distancing, and show up no more than an hour ahead of time.
