A Suffolk PR firm has been contracted by the family of Captain Sir Tom Moore to inspire millions of UK schoolchildren to take part in a challenge to mark what would have been his 101st birthday.
Felixstowe-based Prominent was approached by Hannah Ingram-Moore, the daughter of the Second World War veteran who raised more than £32m for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday.
The firm will now deliver the education focus of the Captain Tom 100 challenge – urging young people in primary and secondary schools to create their own challenge themed around the number 100 to raise money for the Captain Tom Foundation or a charity of their choice.
