23 restaurants awarded a green star in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain & Ireland 2021 Restaurants including The Black Swan at Oldstead, Coombeshead Farm, Where the Light Gets In (pictured), Restaurant Sat Bains, and L’Enclume are among 23 places to be awarded a Michelin green star in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain & Ireland 2021.
The green star, which highlights restaurants that are leaders in sustainability practices, has been awarded to UK restaurants for the first time this year having made it debut in the French version of the red book in 2020.
#Restaurants have been chosen under various criteria, including championing local produce, being pioneers in the fight against food waste or being leaders in vegetable growing, according to Michelin, and have been selected on the basis of research, fieldwork and investigation carried out by the inspectors, it says.
Restaurants including The Black Swan at Oldstead, Coombeshead Farm, Where the Light Gets In (pictured), Restaurant Sat Bains, and L’Enclume are among 23 places to be awarded a Michelin green star in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain & Ireland 2021.
