Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Opens COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

Healthcare workers who are eligible for the vaccine right now and plan on receiving it at a LADPH vaccination site must bring one of four documents proving their occupation. This could include a healthcare worker employee badge with photo, professional license and photo ID, signed letter from employer on facility letterhead and a photo ID, or a payment stub from a healthcare provider with your name and a photo ID.
In regards to future vaccine distribution plans at Henry Mayo, Moody says that officials plan to stay open for a minimum of six weeks with the possibility for extensions.
The vaccine clinic is located in the Henry Mayo Center at 23803 McBean Parkway and is open between 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. ....

SCVNews.com | Henry Mayo Announces Opening of COVID-19 Vaccine-Distribution Site

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital announced Thursday the opening of its site for COVID-19 vaccinations, with the goal of vaccinating nearly 500 people a day.
The hospital’s Los Angeles County-designated location opened Wednesday, vaccinating a total of 349 people on the first day, with plans to ramp up capacity in the coming days, according to Henry Mayo spokesman Patrick Moody.
Vaccinations are expected to be administered to those eligible to be vaccinated per the L.A. County Department of Public Health guidelines, with the site set to be open every weekday by appointment only.
In addition, Public Health announced Thursday that it would not yet begin vaccinating those 65 and older for COVID-19 as announced by the governor, due to the limited supply of doses received thus far. ....

Community Remembers Former Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation President Diana Vose
The passing of former Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation President Diana Vose, who suffered a stroke in November, was announced Wednesday.
Vose began her tenure as president of the Henry Mayo Foundation in 2001, having been part of Henry Mayo’s philanthropic program since 1982.
In addition to heading fundraising programs, she played a major role in the development, recruitment and management of the Foundation’s 22-member Board of Directors and related committees and support groups, according to a previous KHTS story.
“Over her many years at Henry Mayo, Diana was instrumental in raising over $25 million for building and development, equipment, and healthcare programs,” read a Facebook post from the hospital Monday. “Henry Mayo has great appreciation for her years of compassionate and strategic leadership as we expanded to serve our community.” ....
