Monona County
In Monona County, voters will decide on several important measures. Officials with the Monona County Jail, in Onawa, are hoping a $6.2 million bond vote will pass for a new jail project.
The project would replace the current 12-bed facility built back in 1976. The new jail would house up to 32 inmates, with the possibility of expanding to holding 66 inmates.
Last March the bond vote received 57 approval from voters, 3 percent short of the required level to pass.
