(Highland Heights, Ky.) – For the second time this year, white-supremacist graffiti has been found on the campus of Northern Kentucky University. The latest act of vandalism was reported by President Dr. Ashish Vaidya on Saturday. The graffiti comes just a little over two months after white-supremacist graffiti and materials were found on campus during International Holocaust Remembrance Day. COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Clinic Scheduled For April 10 In Aurora By Travis Thayer Shutterstock photo. (Aurora, Ind.) – A COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic has been scheduled in Dearborn County. The Dearborn County Health Department and volunteers will conduct a mass vaccination effort at the old Merchant’s Bank at 13950 Wilson Creek Road in Aurora on Saturday, April 10. The clinic will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pre-registration is expected to be open by the end of the day Monday at ourshot.in.gov. Health officer Dr. Stephen Eliason tells Eagle Country 99.3 that approximately 800 doses of the Moderna vaccine available. Vandalism At Area Parks Impacts Ripley Co. Reads Story-Walk Program By Travis Thayer The vandalism took place at parks in Sunman and Holton. (Ripley County, Ind.) – An organization in Ripley County has two less locations to work with due to vandalism. Ripley County Reads is a program that helps youths in the area with childhood literacy and education. This year, the organization scheduled six story-walk locations throughout Ripley County. However, due to recent vandalism at Sunman Community Park and Holton Community Park, those locations will not be used this spring. Unfortunately two of our story walk locations were vandalized. Our committee has worked hard to make this project successful and due to our limited budget and time, we are unable to repair these story walks. Eagle Country 99.3 By Travis Thayer Photo by Osgood Volunteer Fire Department. (Osgood, Ind.) – A local family lost their home in a fire over the weekend. Osgood Volunteer Fire Department along responded to a home on North Street on Saturday around 4:24 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found a by-level home with heavy smoke and fire. No one was in the home at the time of the fire, but the home was deemed a complete loss. The Red Cross is assisting the family impacted. Osgood Fire Chief Kyle Negangard says the fire started in the kitchen. Napoleon Fire, Versailles Fire, Ripley County EMS, and Duke Energy assisted at the scene. ....
Eagle Country 99.3 Emerson Drive Emerson Drive is a Canadian country music band consisting of Brad Mates (lead vocals), Danick Dupelle (guitars and backing vocals), Mike Melancon (drums), and Dale Wallace (keyboards and backing vocals). Early on, the band found minor success in Canada, releasing two albums under the name of 12 Gauge. The first album, Open Season, was a product of winning a local Battle of the Bands contest. They then charted two singles on the Canadian country charts and a music video on CMT.
