HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (FOX19) - NKU officials said university police will increase patrols and surveillance coverage around the rock and other key areas on campus after graffiti from the white supremacist group Patriot Front was found on the campus over the weekend.
This is the second time this year this vandalism has shown up on NKUâs campus; the same images were seen in January.
Both times, a rock behind Norse Commons was vandalized with white supremacist graffiti.

They defaced artwork in what appears to be a racist way for the second time this year. Students found this graffiti Saturday morning. X s were spray-painted over black faces on a mural.A student group painted the mural back in January after graffiti and posters from a white nationalist hate group called Patriot Front were found on campus. (Highland Heights, Ky.) – For the second time this year, white-supremacist graffiti has been found on the campus of Northern Kentucky University.
The latest act of vandalism was reported by President Dr. Ashish Vaidya on Saturday.
The graffiti comes just a little over two months after white-supremacist graffiti and materials were found on campus during International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
President Vaidya released the following statement: NKU will not tolerate the white supremacy graffiti defacing our campus today or any day. This latest act of vandalism is contrary to our core values and our commitment to fostering a more equitable, inclusive environment in which everyone is valued and free from discrimination of any kind.
