RANCHI: A 26-year-old contractual employee at sadar hospital was found dead in the hospital on Tuesday night. Although hospital sources told deceased Rahul Sharma’s family that he killed himself, his father Harihar Baitha has alleged foul play and submitted a written complaint at Lower Bazaar police station on Wednesday, accusing two of Rahul’s colleagues of murdering him.
As per the complaint, a copy of which is with TOI, Baitha said that he had spoken to his son around 9:30pm on Tuesday night and he was doing fine. But around 11:30pm, a co-worker called him to inform that his son is dead. “I have been told that Vaibhav Soren and Sakendra Kumar Thakur are behind my son’s death as they had an altercation with him three days ago and had beat him up badly,” Baitha said. ....
