HUBBALLI: The Dharwad district administration and Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) are leaving no stone unturned to break the chain of spread of the novel coronavirus. The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has decided to seal areas where Covid-19 cases are found in large numbers. It has sealed five areas in Dharwad, and contact tracing of patients in Hubballi-Dharwad is under process. The number of sealed areas is expected to rise, even in Hubballi.
According to sources in the HDMC, Barakotri, Tejaswi Nagar, Chaitanya Nagar, Malamaddi and Siddheshwar Nagar were sealed on Sunday, as Covid-19 cases are on the rise there.
