April 23, 2021 HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Two future Huskers were back in action on Friday night in the Final Four of the 2021 NJCAA men’s basketball championship at Hutchinson Sports Arena. 2021 Nebraska signee Keisei Tominaga and No. 13-seed Ranger (Texas) College took on No. 8 Cowley (Kan.) College, while 2022 NU commit Blaise Keita and No. 10 Coffeyville (Kan.) C.C. faced No. 6 Chipola (Fla.) College. Tominaga and Ranger saw their season come to an end in a 116-97 defeat, but Keita and the Ravens advanced to the title game with a 66-63 victory. State bringing mobile Hepatitis A, COVID vaccination lab to Hutchinson Besides the Hepatitis A vaccine, staff will also be administering the Johnson & Johnson single-dose COVID-19 vaccine. Rapid testing for COVID-19 also will be available, according to a release from the Reno County Health Department. All services are free and confidential, and no appointment is needed. As of Friday, the county has recorded 10 Hepatitis A cases for the year. That compares to just two cases reported for all of 2020. The majority of cases, officials previouslyl stated, have been diagnosed in individuals with a history of drug use. The mobile unit will set up behind Planet Fitness, 401 E. Fourth Ave., from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the next four Mondays – April 12, 19, 26, and May 3. ....

Any Reno County resident 18 or older will be eligible to get the shot. They are free, but the county only has 1000 doses to start with, so appointments will need to made through the Reno County website. Use the link below to make an appointment. You can also call 620-694-2900, and select option 6 to set a time to get the shot. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine only requires a single shot, while others require a follow-up dose. ....
