When the pandemic was at its peak in May and June, the civic body had rushed to create nearly 60 centres for admitting and treating covid patients who were asymptomatic or suffering from mild symptoms. The number of active CCCs has now been reduced to seven. Each zone, except RR Nagar, has one active covid care centre, currently treating a total of 123 patients.
