Other CCCs will be activated on a need-basis As the covid-19 cases have come down sharply, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has reduced the number of covid care centres (CCCs) to one facility per zone. When the pandemic was at its peak in May and June, the civic body had rushed to create nearly 60 centres for admitting and treating covid patients who were asymptomatic or suffering from mild symptoms. The number of active CCCs has now been reduced to seven. Each zone, except RR Nagar, has one active covid care centre, currently treating a total of 123 patients. The BBMP chose to activate almost all centres that were established in the government-owned buildings, be it Haj Bhavan in Yelahanka zone or ....

According to a press release, the six new centres have been opened at Byrasandra Yoga Centre (10 beds) in Jayanagar 3rd Block, Shuttle Court (51 beds), opposite Sagar Hospital in Kumaraswamy Layout, Octavla Hotel (39 beds) on Marathalli Road, Kaikondrahalli, Key House Hotel (50 beds) in H.S.R. Layout, Zinc Hotel (50 beds) on Chennasandra Main Road, Whitefield, and OYO Town House (50 beds) in OMBR Layout. ....
