If you ever saw him get happy  and dance before the Lord, you know exactly what I’m talking about. And how a man of his size could dance the way he did, all the while doing it on such little feet, was amazing to me.
But, then again, using the word “amazing” was easy when discussing his voice, the way he played piano or his ability to whip a congregation or community gathering into a spiritual frenzy. He was one of a kind.
I had heard about him early on, especially in my musical career as he was one of the best ever to come from our quaint little town. He and his brothers had already become local legends simply by the music they made from their front porch. ....
