2nd Amendment sanctuaries in NY: Steuben County proposal denied

Kyle Peterson and Scott Van Etten are on the same page up to a point.
Both own multiple firearms and enjoy shooting at the range. Van Etten even shoots competitively across the state, while Peterson handles firearms every day in his duties as a US Army soldier stationed in Penn Yan.

COVID-19: 88 new cases, 1 death in Steuben County
About a dozen healthcare workers were among the positive tests
Staff reports
BATH – The Steuben County Public Health Department recorded 88 new COVID-19 cases among Steuben County residents Wednesday, bringing the total to 3,881 confirmed cases with 669 currently active.
About a dozen healthcare workers were among the positive tests.
“Our numbers continue to rise at an unsustainable rate,” said Public Health Director Darlene Smith. “A portion of our cases today are health care workers who are exposed more often than the general public, but it is also concerning for the vulnerable population they may serve and come into contact with. Please heighten your focus on slowing the spread and show great care in your personal choices.”   ....
