This spring, Oratorio Chorale a midcoast Maine-based choral community will continue holding music workshops in an entirely virtual format. While the Chorale traditionally holds these workshops in person, Artistic Director Emily Isaacson still sees the value in providing community members with opportunities to further or begin their education in music. In 2015, after spending a decade in graduate school pursuing conducting and musicology, Isaacson was struck with the motivation to continue learning music, even after her extensive formal education. ....

The crash happened around 3:43 p.m. near the 9100 block of Rineyville Road. According to a Kentucky State Police Post 4 news release, a preliminary investigation revealed a juvenile, 17, was operating a 2015 Dodge Challenger eastbound near Crume Road on Rineyville Road. For unknown reasons, the Dodge crossed the center line and into the path of a 2012 Honda passenger car operated by Jason Stern, 50, of Chicago, Illinois. An unidentified passenger in Stern s vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner s Office. The name will be released pending notification of next of kin, KSP said. The unidentified teen was airlifted to Norton s Children s Hospital and Stern was transported to University of Louisville Hospital, both with non-life threatening injuries.  ....
