His street art is everywhere in Auckland, from the America s Cup Village and Silo Park to community centres and bus stops. But the man behind the spray can is also an inspiring ultramarathoner who s helping others in their weight loss battles.
Street artist, ornithologist and ultra-distance athlete aren t terms that normally go together.
But Charles Williams is someone who doesn t follow the usual stereotypes.
Over the last 20 years, Charles and his wife Janine have become two of Auckland s most well-known muralists, with their works adorning hundreds of public spaces and council facilities around the city with unique combinations of bright, bold designs coupled with dramatic depictions of native birds. ....

Schwenk Zement plans to start operation of an additional cement mill and multichamber cement storage silo at its Broceni plant in Latvia at the end of this year.
The completion of the project will enable more efficient use of the existing capacity at the facility, expand the range of cement produced with more environmentally-friendly product types and look towards new export markets.
We already export about 70 per cent of the cement produced in BrocÄni to the Nordic countries and we can confidently say that we are able to meet the requirements of demanding customers for the most environmentally friendly product possible, says Maris GruzniÅš, Schwenk Zement Latvia’s board member and director of cement sales and logistics in the Baltics. ....
