Lauren Kummer
She was born and raised in LaSalle, Ontario, Canada and comes from a family of six.
It was in high school she became interested in news and telling stories. She anchored the morning announcements where she found a passion for informing her peers of current events, important information and other studentâs accomplishments.
From there, she attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL where she was a part of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. Lauren graduated with a Bachelorâs Degree in Journalism and a minor in French. She also studied abroad in Paris and traveled around Europe while she was there.

When Kaelynn Kuang pictured being in college, she didn’t just imagine lecture halls and living in dorms.
She wanted to join the honor society and Asian American student alliance at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
