Last February, about three weeks before covid-19 shut the country down, I met my longtime best friend in Steamboat Springs, Colo., where we skied for four blissful days - one at the resort and three with Steamboat Powdercats. BETHLEHEM - Two married veterinarians are thinking of merging their practices at a new facility in Selkirk.
Kristin and Christopher Penno of Berne submitted plans to the town of Bethlehem s development committee to potentially build a new 9,900 square-foot barn-style small animal and horse clinic on Elm Avenue in Sekirk on property that used to be a farm. The two currently run Alternative Veterinary Therapies and Equine Clinic at Oakencroft and together employ about 30 people.
Kristin Penno said there are no concrete plans yet, and she and her husband wanted to submit the building application to the town to prepare for the potential move if it happens. ....
