Sheriff s officials say a player for the Orlando City Soccer Club is accused of sexually assaulting a woman. Deputies arrested 24-year-old Jonathan Suarez-Cortes and his brother, Rafael Suarez Jr. late Tuesday.
KISSIMMEE, Fla. - An Orlando City soccer player and his brother are each being held on $20,000 bonds at the Osceola County Jail. 
Jonathan Suárez-Cortés, 24, and his brother Rafael Suárez Jr., 25, are each charged with sexual battery.  
Deputies took the men into custody late Tuesday night.  Investigators said the victim and a friend met up with the Suarez brothers at Top Golf in Orlando, then went back to the Suarez’s Kissimmee-area apartment to play beer pong Sunday.  ....

A family s pain has been compounded after a suspect in a murder-for-hire plot will not qualify for the death penalty.
ORLANDO, Fla. - The family of a woman killed in a botched murder-for-hire case said outgoing State Attorney Aramis Ayala was wrong after revoking the death penalty without asking how they felt.
It has been three years since 42-year-old Janice Zengottia-Torres was kidnapped outside a store and mistakenly killed in what authorities called a love triangle murder-for-hire plot.
Ayala appointed a review panel that decided to seek the death penalty against two of the three suspects, Ishnar Marie Lopez and Alexis Ramos-Rivera. However, during her final days as state attorney for Orange and Osceola counties, Ayala revoked the death penalty in three different cases, including this one.  She cited the defendant s age and lack ....
